FALL RIVER – Richard P. Donovan Jr., age 22 of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, May 26th. He was the beloved son of Richard P. Donovan Sr. (wife Emily LePage) & Debra (McElroy) Donovan. Richard was currently working for the Amazon Fulfillment Center, Fall River as a Shipper/Receiver. He had also worked at Cleary’s Pub in Fairhaven. Richard had enjoyed playing little league baseball, his guitar, and video games. He also loved and embraced his Irish Heritage.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his maternal grandmother: Elizabeth McElroy (late husband John); paternal grandmother: Dolores Breese (late husband Michael P.); paternal great grandmother: Helen Breese; siblings: Jacob & Thomas Haskins, Blake & Aaron Donovan; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Spring St. at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
