Passed away May 28, 2018 surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by loving wife June; brother Richard; and sister Mary Helen. Survived by children Barbara (Jerry Beutel), James Jr. (Pam), Kathleen, John (Nancy), Theresa and Peter (Joanna); grandchildren Dan (Eva Gardner), Sarah (Josh Mohr), Katie (Will Mitchell), Scott (Cayley Baird), Jen (Shuhei Suzuki), Allison, Rachel (Justin Fragnoli) and Andrew; great grandchildren Charlie, Ingrid, Lev and Beatrice; sister-in-law Patt Glass; and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by loving pet Molly. Jim was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and was a longtime resident of North St. Paul and Sun City, Arizona. Graduate of St. Thomas Military Academy and College of St. Thomas. He was a math teacher and administrator for ISD 622 and founding member and treasurer of the North St. Paul Area Public School Employees Credit Union. Mass of Christian Burial 12 PM, Friday, June 1 at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret Street, North St. Paul. Visitation one hour before the Mass in the church atrium.
