On May 24, 2018 Russell Leroy Winneberger, 89, of Phoenix, MD passed away peacefully at the Gilchrist Hospice Center. Mr. Winneberger was born May 8, 1929 to the late Howard and Beulah Merryman Winneberger of Phoenix, MD. Russell was retired from the Baltimore County Department of Public Works, roads division.
He is survived by his loving sister Shirley and husband Michael Romeo of Nashville, TN, and Janet Winneberger Horak of Greenbackville, VA, and nieces Cindy and husband Joseph Plantholt of Westminster, MD, and Stacey and husband Jason Sanderson of Nashville, TN.
He was predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Winneberger Hupfeld, Howard “Bud” Winneberger, Margaret Winneberger Wilson, Benjamin “Ben” Winneberger, William Winneberger, and Betty Winneberger.
