Silvino Moniz (55) of Brockton died May 25th in the Good Samaritan Medical Center.
He was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde son of the late Pedro and Olimpia Moniz. He was a carpenter by trade. Silvino was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church and enjoyed watching soccer and socializing with family and friends.
Survivors include 4 sons, Rudy Moniz of Brockton, Heder, Ivan and Junior Moniz all of Cabo Verde, a daughter Jessica Moniz of Cabo Verde, 3 grandchildren, a brother Carlos, 2 sisters, Preta and Branca.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday June 6th from 5-8 pm. Cremation to follow.
