Lawrence W. Wright, age 64 of Brockton, died May 24, 2018, following a period of failing health. Lifelong of Brockton, Larry was the son of the late Dr. Robert F. and Irene (Zubrinski) Wright. Larry graduated from St. Edward’s School, Brockton High School, class of 1972, and attended Wentworth Institute.
For several years he had been employed locally as a biomedical technician. Larry was a great friend to many and was an avid pool player who was known for his skills. He also enjoyed watching Boston sports and spending time at his family’s summer home in Little Harbor.
Larry was the brother of Robert F. Jr., and his wife Margaret of Pembroke, Michael J. and his wife Robin of Quincy, Paula S. and her husband Brian Campbell of Cambridge, Peter J. of Brockton and Mary A. of Easton. He is also survived by his longtime companion Margaret Sullivan of Middleboro and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday, May 31, 4-6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm. Burial will be held at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s name to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305.
