Josephine F. (Noe) Cordeiro passed away on Friday, May 25th. She was 98 years young. Josephine was born to the late Domenico and Rosaria (Morello) Noe and was raised in Boston’s West End. She spent most of her married life in Medford and cherished her summers in Rockport. During her later years, she lived in Winchester with her family.
Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Cordeiro. She was the loving mother of Rosemary Brown of Florida, Dolores Prudente and her husband Joseph of Winchester and Joanne Cordeiro of Winchester. Josephine was the cherished grandmother of John Joseph Prudente. She was predeceased by her sisters Maria Noe, Concetta Noe, Nancy Dicicco and Mary LoCrasto and her brother Joseph Noe. Josephine leaves behind many dear cousins, nieces, nephews, and loyal friends. She had a special bond with her first cousins Margaret DiMare, Rosemarie Ciolfi, Nancy Cannalonga, Frank and Peter Privitera.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, on Thursday, May 31st at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
