Obituary

Patsy Oliver Crumley, 72, of Omega went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Johnathon Crumley will offer a eulogy. Mrs. Crumley will be laid to rest at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery in Eldorado with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Wade Crumley, Steve Cadwell, Dickie Robinson, Josh Thompson, Caleb Overman and Donnie Crumley will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Tift Avenue Church of God Visiting Ladies.

Born March 5, 1946 in Tift County, Mrs. Crumley was the daughter of the late Leroy Oliver and Anna Lee Nation Oliver. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Sue Crumley; and one brother, Bobby Oliver. She was a homemaker and a member of Omega Church of God. She loved her Lord and going to church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She loved her family and loved doing and preparing for them and always put others before herself. She had lived in Tift County all of her life. She loved to travel, with her husband and her sister and brother-in-law, on their Gold Wing across the United States in their earlier years.

Mrs. Crumley is survived by her husband, Jerry Crumley of Omega; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Vicky Crumley of Tifton and Johnathon and Laura Crumley of Tampa, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Norma Ann and Harry Brewer of Tifton; one brother-in-law, Jackie Crumley of Omega: three grandchildren, Russ and Courtney Crumley, Hannah Crumley and Ava Elyse Crumley; and two great-grandchildren, Paisley Ann Crumley and Tyson “Ty” Russell Crumley.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Crumley’s caregivers, Pam Wagner; her granddaughter, Hannah Crumley; and Hospice of Tift Area for their loving care of Mrs. Crumley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Dementia Spotlight Foundation, 1180 Oldfield Drive, Decatur, GA 30030; or the Omega Church of God Building Fund, 1471 Georgia Avenue, Omega, GA 31775.
