BRIDGTON- Dorothy C. Healey, age 91, a longtime resident of Bridgton, passed away on May 25, 2018 at Bridgton Healthcare.
She was born in Epsom, NH on April 16, 1927, a daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Stagg) Campbell and attended a one-room schoolhouse in Epsom.
In her earlier years she ran a chicken farm in Raymond, NH. Later, she worked at a yarn factory in MA and for Avon in Mansfield, MA.
Dorothy will always be remembered for her love of family and family gatherings. She enjoyed baking beans and preparing the meals for family gatherings. She was also an avid animal lover – especially her chihuahua named Cissy.
She is predeceased by her husband- Kenneth Healey; and her sister- Marion Parker.
Dorothy is survived by her children- Pam Boule and her husband David of Sebago, Robert Healey and his wife Pat of Bridgton, Henry Burns Jr. of FL, and Dana Healey and Heidi; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in- law- Richard and Lloyd Healey; and her best friend- Joyce Cole of NY.
Private burial will be at a later date at Sebago Cemetery.
