Anne A. Hamilton, 75

Anne A. (Squillacci) Hamilton, age 75, of Norton, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Hamilton

Born in Providence, Rhode Island on March 17, 1943, she was a loving daughter of the late Pietro and Vincenzina (Ursillo) Squillacci.

Anne grew up in Warwick, was educated in Warwick Schools and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Boston University. She had made her home in Norton for the past eleven years and formerly resided in Mansfield for over forty years.

Prior to retiring, Mrs. Hamilton was a music teacher for the Attleboro Public School System for over thirty. Following retirement, she continued her love of music; teaching piano lessons.

She treasured the times spent amongst family and friends, especially with her granddaughters. Anne was a huge fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. She loved music, and her hobbies included traveling and playing tennis.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter Heather A. Pelletier and her husband Michael of Mansfield. She was the cherished grandmother of Jacqueline Pelletier and Makayla Pelletier both of Mansfield. She was the loving companion of Michael Pappagallo, Jr. She was the dear sister of Anthony Squillacci of North Providence, RI, and her twin brother Peter Squillacci and his wife Christine of Cumberland, R.I. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 30th at 10:00 A.M. in St Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 29th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne’s memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
