Antonio Rito Pagliocca, 79, of Franklin formerly of Walpole died May 24.
He was the husband of Pasqualina (Bevilacqua) Pagliocca for the past 59 years.
Born in Pietradefusi, Italy, May 26,1938, the son of the late Mario and Raffaela (Cimildoro) Pagliocca, Mr. Pagliocca first lived in East Boston when he came to America. He then lived in Revere and Roslindale before moving to Walpole where he lived for 39 years. He had been a resident of Franklin for the past 4 years.
Antonio had worked in construction for most of his life.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, getting together with family and friends, watching the Boston Bruins and gardening.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Raffaela Mennenga and her husband Karl A. Mennenga of Attleboro, Mario L. Pagliocca and his wife Paula M. (Tyo) Pagliocca of Wrentham and Annamaria Bailey and her husband and Mr. Pagliocca’s godson, Charles F. Bailey III of Franklin.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, John C. Landry, Jr., Ryan J. Landry, Shauna J. Mennenga, Marc W. Pagliocca, Amanda N. Pagliocca, Daniel C. Bailey and Brianna M. Bailey.
He is also survived by his sister Adua Voci of Wakefield and was the brother of the
late Pasqualina Sinatra and Serafina Sordello.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 29 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
