Stephen Joseph Fitzpatrick, (Fitzy) a lifelong resident of South Boston, passed away May 18, 2018. He was 61.
He is survived by his two sons; Stephen Joseph Jr., and Ryan Michael, both of Plainville, Ct., and 3 grandchildren; Kassidy Leilani, Trevor Michael, and Aubree Michelle of Plainville, CT. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Maryann Adams of Rockland, Ma., and Lucyann F. Ellis of Plainville, Ct. As well as a great many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was a long time member of Teamsters Local 25, as well as an employee at a number of Southie's finer establishments, as well as a member the "Chip" Club. He will be remembered by his union brothers and friends as a hard working, caring soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. at Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston followed by a reception at the V.F.W. Post #6536, 7 Ellery Street in South Boston.
