Peggy Mae Galloway
Age 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 20, 2018. She was born on May 11, 1945, the youngest of six children. Ms. Galloway was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church where she dearly loved to worship. She retired from Boys and Girls Clubs of America as a secretary where she enjoyed making a difference in the lives of children. She had a generous heart and faithfully supported many charitable organizations. She loved and was deeply loved by all who knew her, and her sweet smile and loving disposition will be missed by everyone. While her leaving has left us sad, we rejoice that she is with The Lord and her family, which was her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mark Hannah and Ida Vermillion Galloway, her sisters Bessie (Ray) Pasold, Dorothy (Edsel) Geary, Rosie (Bill) Jennings, and her brother Mark Hannah Galloway Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Mary Elizabeth Paquin, and too numerous to name, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes, there will be a graveside service at Cave Hill Cemetery on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. Arrangements handled by Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
