LYONS, Patricia Ann (nee Dunlap). It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Ann Lyons of Natick announces her passing on Saturday, May 19, 2018, from complications of a stroke, at the age of 75 years. Pat was married to the late William F. Lyons Sr. for 32 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, William (Bill) F. Lyons Jr. of Hudson, Marianne Delorey of Hopkinton, and Thomas J. Lyons of Gainesville, Florida. Pat will also be fondly remembered by her six grandchildren, William (Liam) F. Lyons III, Connor L. Lyons, Sean P. Lyons, Tyler D. Delorey, Aaron P. Delorey, and Harper J. Lyons, by her brother Raymond Dunlap, her sister-in-law Cathy Dunlap, her sister Priscilla (Dunlap) Pironti, and her brother-in-law Fred Pironti. She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family, including Phil Grondin, Sara Foster, Nathalie Lyons, Kathyrn Ward, and her many Lyons family brothers and sisters-in-law, and her many nieces and nephews. Pat retired from the phone company and has many, many dear friends in the Natick community. She was an active member of Saint Patrick’s Parish and an active participant in senior center activities. She enjoyed spending time with friends, doing aerobics at the Framingham YMCA and traveling with the Wacky Women Wanderers. She loved to spend time attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, where she was always their biggest fan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 25, 2018 in St. Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, MA. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening May 24th, 2018 at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. at Natick Common from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
Those who so desire, may make donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Pat to the Home for Little Wanderers, 10 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135, where she volunteered in her retirement years.
