Martha E. Brown, 67, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.
Formally of Norwood MA she was daughter of the late George Brown and Emily Arlene Flanagan. She graduated from The Henry O. Peabody school for girls in 1969. During the early 1990’s she volunteered at Nassau Resource Center. She had worked at Gertrudes Bakery in Noorwood MA. She had been head cook at Guilderland Center Nursing Home and also worked as a cook at the Altamont Fair, The Eddy and St. Rose College. Martha was also employed at Walmart in Latham.
Mother to Eva ( Kory) Hogan of Albany NY, Catherine “ Kate “ ( Stephen ) Brennan of Cohoes NY and Edward Pflueger IV of Nassau NY. Sister to Stephen ( Karen ) Brown of Palm Bay Florida and formerly of Norwood MA, the late Margery ( Joseph ) Finneran of Walpole MA and Thomas Conroy of Norwood MA. Aunt to the late Stephen Brown of Norwood MA, Joseph ( Allison ) Farrell of Sturbridge MA, Raymie Farrell of Wareham MA, and the late Kara Farrell of Wareham MA. Ya-ya to Shyaira, Kendrik, Kyla, Alexandra, Kory and Lily. Also survived by many cousins.
A committal service will be held on June 27, 2018 at 1pm in the East Walpole Cemetery.
