Mrs. Audrey Muriel (Reinhard) Lazarz, of Norton, entered into rest Saturday, May 19 in the Boston Medical Center, Boston following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley E. Lazarz. She was 82. Audrey graduated from Pondville Nursing and worked thirty-plus years as a nurse in the Attleboro area, retiring in 1999 to care for her ailing husband. She was a member of the Norton Historical Society. Living on Lake Winniecunnet meant everything to her. Early in her life she enjoyed working at her family’s ice cream shop. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher, taking great pride in her flower gardens. Audrey enjoyed trips to the canal and up North with her husband and family. Audrey was a kind and gentle soul who enriched the lives of all that knew her. She loved preparing holiday meals with her family, passing on family traditions. One of her great joys was watching her grandchildren become adults and spending time with her great grandchildren
Audrey is survived by one son, Michael S. Lazarz and his wife, Wanda S. Lazarz of Taunton; three daughters, Juliann Lazarz of Taunton, Marie I. Anthony of Norton, and Susan A. Giguere and her fiancé, Jacob Corbean of Seekonk; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence S. Reinhard and Mildred Hartwell, and stepdaughter of Edna Reinhard and Herbert Hartwell. Sister of Rhoda Martin and the late Paul Standish Reinhard, stepsister of Susan Woodard and the grandmother to the late Travis M. Giguere.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Wednesday, May 23 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A private interment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
