Edna L. (Travers) MacDonald, 85, of Medway, died May 18 in the Madonna Manor in North Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Robert H. MacDonald who died in 1990.
Born in Medfield, October 12,1932, the daughter of the late Frank L. and Edna M. (Coome) Travers, Jr. Mrs. MacDonald was raised in Medfield and had lived in Medway since 1953.
She was a graduate of Medfield High School.
Edna had been a clerk at Sun Life Insurance Company and previously had worked at the Medway Savings Bank.
She had been long active at the Medway Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy L. Waugh of Brimfield and Judy A. Kane of North Attleboro. She was the mother of the late Thomas R. MacDonald.
Edna is also survived by her granddaughters, Jillian MacDonald, Emily Waugh and Stephanie Kane.
She was the sister of the late Frank L. Travers, III, Robert Travers, Jenny Brink and Anna Mallory.
Her funeral service will be beheld on Wednesday, May 23 in Christ Episcopal Church, 14 School Street, Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, West Medway.
