Alice M. Carey, 86 of Whitman, died May 18th at the St. Josephs Manor in Brockton. She was born and raised in Plympton, daughter of the late Harold and Loretta (Belerive) Colpitts. She was as a graduate of Plympton High School.
She was a Whitman resident for 30 years. Alice was retired from the Haemonetics Company of Braintree and worked as a Real Estate agent for Jack Conway Reality in Whitman for many years.
Alice was an avid member of the Whitman Senior Center and she enjoyed traveling and spending her summers on the beaches of Cape Cod.
She was the sister of the late Ellen Sargent.
Alice’s family would like to convey a sincere thank you to the staff at Saint Joseph’s Manor for their kindness and compassionate quality of care.
Her funeral services will be held on Friday May 25th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, 163 Cary St., Brockton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00AM - 11:00AM.
