David Davis, Sr., 73, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at his residence. A private family service will be held for Mr. Davis.
Born July 10, 1944 in Ben Hill County, Mr. Davis was the son of the late Roy Harvey Davis and Lucy Poole Davis. He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Before retiring, he was employed with Nashville Tractor Company. He was a member of Woodmen of the World; he loved to fish and spend time with his family.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Margie Frances Chance Davis of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, David Jr. and Donna Davis and Ricky Allen and Mallette Davis, all of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Tony Luke of Brookfield; two brothers, Bill Davis of Bainbridge and Russell Davis of Eufaula, Alabama; two sister, Shirley Hunsinger of Anderson, South Carolina and Linda Williams of Ashburn; seven grandchildren, Chance Davis, William Spradlin, Tim Spradlin, Bo Spradlin, Kimmy Lamb, Casi Parrish and Angel Davis; and seven great-grandchildren.
