Lester F. Chase, 85, of Derry, NH, died Sunday May 13, 2018, in St. Teresa's Manor Nursing Home, Manchester, NH. He was born in Derry on August 24, 1932, a son of the late Fredrick and Doris (York) Chase. He had been a lifelong resident of Derry and was an alumnus of Pinkerton Academy. Lester proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After his military service, Lester was employed as a fireman for the town of Derry and worked his way up to Fire Captain. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting and taking his yacht out on Lake Winnipesauke.
He is survived by many close and loving friends. Lester was predeceased by his beloved wife of 56 years, Betty Jean Chase in September of 2016.

A graveside service was held on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 11:00 am in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry, NH. Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch St. Derry is assisting with the arrangements.
