Everett "Leon" Justice, 81, of Anderson died May 12, 2018 at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born May 5, 1937 in Hancock County the son of Ernest Martin and Beatrice Lou Olive (Nance) Justice. He was a millwright 25 years before retiring on April 1, 1989 from Delco Remy America division of General Motors
He attended Riverview Christ Christian Union of Alexandria. He loved old cars, auctions, traveling and going out to eat with friends.
Leon is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lois (Misenheimer) Justice whom he married December 20, 1987; daughter, Debby Dove and three step-daughters Sherry (Tom) Robey, Pam (Charlie) Vasko and Lisa (Rodney) Benefiel; adopted son, Don (Clara) Lanham; 20 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Brucker, Sharon (Roger) Fish and Marilyn Broyles several nieces, nephews; special friends Paul and Tina Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ernest and Danny Justice; sisters, Geraldine Dean and Marie Ibarra and stepson, Ed Maupin.
Service will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
