Obituary

Richard T. Kennealy, 78 of Natick died peacefully at home on Saturday, May 12, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Elaine F. (Thurston) Kennealy, sharing 52 years of marriage.

A Natick resident for 48 years, he was born in Newton the son of the late Frank and Julia (Farrell) Kennealy.

Mr. Kennealy was formerly employed with the Herb Connolly Auto Sales in Framingham for many years.

Dick was a Veteran of the United States Army, and volunteered his time with the Natick Comets Youth Hockey Association as a Coach, Referee, and parent. He was also an avid fan of local and regional sports teams, and was a former member of the Natick Elks and Natick Legion Post.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Patricia Turieo and her husband, Joseph Turieo, of Marlborough; one son Richard T Kennealy Jr. and his wife, Kristin, of Hopewell Junction NY; 4 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Francis Kennealy, Janet Seeley, and Dorothy Hillson.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, May 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Cancer Research Institute.
