Annette Bryant Griffin, 84, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Friday, May 11, 2018, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM, Sunday, May 13, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with the Rev. Bennie Ralph Griffin officiating. Interment will be private.
Mrs. Griffin was born June 24, 1933, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Lewis Monroe & Hester Ann Roberts Bryant. She was a graduate of Ocilla High School. Mrs. Griffin worked for over 40 years at Irwin Manufacturing, retiring as a quality control inspector. She lived in the community all of her life and loved spending time with her grandchildren. A longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church, she taught Sunday school for many years and sang in the choir.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Griffin of Ocilla; her son, Ralph & Sharon Griffin of Ocilla; grandchildren: Ben Griffin, Adam Griffin, Gracie Griffin, Shelby Griffin, Adrianne Roberts, and Brady Vickers; and a great-grandchild, Kyler Griffin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie R. Griffin; and four brothers, Rupert Bryant, Buford Bryant, Aubrey Bryant, and Varney Bryant.
