She was born February 6, 1966 in Aurora, Illinois to the union of Hans Peter Staiger and Irmgard Loffler of Batavia, Illinois. Raised in Batavia, Glen Ellyn, and West Chicago, Illinois she graduated Batavia High School, the class of 1986, and later attended Indiana Christian University. Sonya’s love for Jesus was first and foremost in all areas of her life, sharing Jesus’ Love with everyone she met.
