Sirkka M. Duggan of Worcester, MA passed away peacefully on May 10, 2018 at the Tewksbury Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Worcester in January 22, 1952 to the late Sirkka M. (Hirst) and Charles H. Duggan. Sirkka graduated form Sacred Heart Academy and received a BA from Worcester State College. She was a long-time parishioner at St. Johns Church. Sirkka was an avid reader who loved to travel. She had an infectious smile, a generous soul and a wonderful sense of humor.
Beloved sister of the late Michael Duggan and his wife Lucy of Worcester, Charles Duggan of Greenfield, Thomas Duggan and his wife Noreen of North Attleboro, Ann Cowell Of Mattapoisett, Maura Duggan of Worcester, and Christine Barbera and her husband David of Hubbardston. Aunt to ten nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday, May 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Church, Temple Street in Worcester. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Worcester.
