Meryl R. (Crane) Souza, 88, of Westport passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at home peacefully with her family by her side. She was wife of the late Dennis M. Souza.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Edward and Fannie (Reed) Crane, she had lived in Westport since 1974. Prior to retirement, she was an LPN at Truesdale Hospital and had also worked at Fall River Nursing Home. Mrs. Souza enjoyed going to the beach, taking rides, watching movies and loved her animals.
Survivors include 2 sons: Barry Souza of Westport and David Souza of Westport; 2 daughters: Chrisan Rosa and her husband Juan of Westport and Pennie Kiser and her husband Chuck of Westport; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Stephen Souza.
Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
