James William Garner, Sr., 79, of Louisville passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018.
James was a native of Morgantown, KY, a U. S. Navy veteran and a member of Centertown Masonic Lodge # 714. He was the owner/operator of James’s Lounge; and had formerly worked for the old A & P Bakery.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann (Lacy) Garner; a son, Ronald Lee Garner.
Survivors include his son, Jim Garner, Jr.; four sisters, Rosie, Bessie, Pam and Joyce; four brothers, Charles, Lonnie, Roger and Donald; four grandchildren, Amber (Rick), Chris (Leann), Ryan (Danira) and April (Jason); six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
