Obituary

Angele (Arakelian) Assadourian, 77, of Tatnuck Park, died Monday, November 14, 2005, at Saint Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 50 years, Ralph Assadourian, died in 2004. She was born in Biver, France, daughter of Hagop and Parapion Arakelian and moved to America in 1950. She worked as a waitress at Orchard Hill Dairy for several years, later working at David Clark and Hersh Neckwear. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining family and friends at her home. She specially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Angele is survived by her son and his wife, Malcolm and Jill Assadourian; her daughter and her husband, Claudine and Michael O’Hara; her grandchildren, Adam and Stephanie Assadourian and Katelyn, Nicholas, and Grace O’Hara; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Peter Arakelian and a sister, Mariam Ounanian.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Holy Trinity Armenian Church. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 5-8 p.m. A Dhangark Service will be held during calling hours. Contributions in lieu of flowers, may be made to Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 635 Grove Street.
