Dawn L. (McCormick) Frazier 80, of Natick died Sunday May 6 2018 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick.
She was the beloved wife for 38 years of the late William J Frazier Jr. who died in 2009.
Born in Houlton Maine she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Marjorie (Bates) McCormick.
Mrs. Frazier was a dedicated Nurse for over 35 years. She began her Nursing career at Newton Wellesley Hospital, during the Vietnam War she was a Nurse and Captain in United States Air Force, after her military service , she earned her Master’s Degree at Simmons College. She retired as a Nurse Practitioner at the Bedford Veteran Administration Hospital.
Dawn was devoted to her family and cherished time with them at the summer camp in Maine and winter trips to Florida. She enjoyed puzzles, knitting and political discussions and was a Member of AMVETS Post 59.
She is survived by one son William J. Frazier III and his wife Olympia, one daughter Theresa “Terry” A. Frazier of Stoneham, grandchildren, James, Daniel and Katharine, Brother James McCormick and his wife Bonnie of Idaho, Rodney McCormick of Maine, sister and brother in law Carol and Arthur Love of Ashland, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Thursday May 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.Mass of Christian Burial in St Linus Church on Friday May 11 at 10:00 A.M. in St Linus Church119 Hartford Street Natick.
Interment Woodlawn Cemetery Wellesley.
