George Tsoutsis, 67, of Worcester, died May 8th in UMass Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Maria (Vestarhis) Tsoutsis; his son, Vasilios Tsoutsis; a daughter, Chrysanthe Tsoutsis both of Worcester; his brother, Gregory Tsoutsis and his wife, Alexandra of Worcester; four grandsons, Xavier, Anthony, Andreas and Geordan Tsoutsis; his aunt, Aphrodite Gikas of Worcester; several nephews and nieces and cousins here and in Greece.
He was born in Ioannana, Greece the son of Fotios and Chrysanthe (Kamtsikas) Tsoutsis and came to Worcester in 1975. Mr. Tsoutsis had been a self employed construction supervisor. He was a member of the Order of AHEPA, loved watching soccer and sports, playing cards, however his greatest joy was being Papou to his four grandsons. George had a passion for cooking and delighted in making his favorite Greek dishes.
His funeral is Friday, May 11th at Noon in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 10:00 until the time of the service in the funeral home.
