Henry Lamar Hill, 72, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at his residence. A private memorial service will be held for Mr. Hill at a later date.
Born February 5, 1946 in Tift County, Mr. Hill was the son of the late James “Jim” Hill and Viola Vaughn Hill. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Jim “Bubba” Hill, Robert Hill, Albert Hill and Penny Hill; and one sister, Clemie Jacobson. He retired from the Coca-Cola Company after 30 years of service and was also employed with Penske Truck Rentals and Fuel South. He loved to fish and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Hill is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Beverley Hill of Baldwin, Florida, Chuck and Gina Hill of Tifton and Dewayne and Becky Hill of Lenox; one daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Kurtis Lane of Soulsbyville, California; two step-sons and their wives, Barry and Jennifer Saunders of Newnan and Gary and Amanda Saunders of Tifton; one step-daughter and her husband, Paula and Hank Houston of Sylvester; eight grandchildren, Destiny Hill Garmon, Elyssa Hill, Jadie Hill, Justin Hill, David Hill, Alex Hill, Emilea Hill McCranie and Joshua Hill; and seven great-grandchildren.
