Erick Teixeira Resende (25) of Brockton died May 7th in Brockton Hospital.
He was the loving son of Luis Resende and Fatima Teixeira of Brockton. Erick was a communicant of St. Martin de Porres Church. He loved following all New England sports and loved watching LeBron James play basketball. He also enjoyed socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandmothers, Maria R. Miranda and Maria M. Gomes both of Brockton, his loving sister Francelina Resende and brother Gabriel Resende both of Brockton, many aunts, uncles and cousins, also his best friend Derrick Farris.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday May 12th at 9:30 am with Erick's Uncle Bishop Filipe C. Teixeira, OFSJC Celebrant. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Friday May 11th from 5-9 pm.
