WORCESTER___ Mary H. (Stachura) Renaud, 79, of Worcester, died on Monday May 7, 2018 in Beaumont Rehab & Nursing Center, Worcester. Her husband of 37 years, Alfred H. Renaud died in 1994.
She leaves a son, John A. Renaud and his wife Gloria of South Grafton; three daughters, Christine M. Paquette and her husband Lee of Worcester; Helen M. Charpentier and her husband Bill of Milo, ME., and Michele M. Abruzzise and her husband Mark of Worcester; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Reverend Thaddeus X. Stachura and Thomas M. Stachura both of Auburn and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by three brothers, Paul Stachura, John J. Stachura, Jr., and Joseph P. Stachura. Mary was born in Auburn, a daughter of the late John J. Stachura, Sr., and Helen R. (Rudnik) Stachura. Mary has lived in Worcester for most of her life.
Mrs. Renaud was a mental health worker several years at Westborough State Hospital and retired in 1991. Mary was a graduate of David Hale Fanning High School. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Church. Mary enjoyed working on crafts and ceramics and liked using her CB radio. She loved being around family and friends and loved vacationing and going camping.
The funeral will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Her brother Rev. Thaddeus X. Stachura will be the principal celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Thursday May 10, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
