Nickson Antoine of Brockton, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 4, 2018 at home at the age of 28. Son of Beausejour and Marie Decime Antoine, dear brother of Godson of Brockton, Marc and wife Isabelle of Quincy, and Jessica of Brockton. He is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and “Auntie” Leslie Dennis of Quincy.
Nickson was born in Haiti and moved to Brockton at the age of 3. He attended many of the Brockton Public Schools, graduated from Brockton High School as well as attended Massasoit Community College and Lincoln Technical Institute.
He was very responsible from a young age, accompanying and translating for his mother on errands as she adjusted to her new life in America and doting on and caring for his beloved sister Jessica who was born when he was nine. He always had plenty of time to play with her. Nickson enjoyed cooking, watching sports, and working out.
He was a soft-spoken presence with a good sense of humor, and beautiful heart and soul and a smile that lit up a room. Friends and family are invited to honor and remember Nickson’s life by gathering for calling hours at the Haitian Assembly of God in Brockton at 204 Court Street. Visitation will be held Friday May 25th from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday May 26th starting at 9 am and ending at the Melrose cemetery in Brockton at 12 pm.
