Mildred L. Tupick, 89, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday May 6, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Brunswick, VT on January 8, 1929 the daughter of Edwin and Eldina (Health) Thomas and lived most of her life in Berlin. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church and loved her grandchildren. Mildred enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, was a fan of Elvis Presley, Country Western music and wrestling.
Family includes her 10 children: Harry Tupick, Jr. and companion Mary of Berlin, Kathleen Buteau of Berlin, Michael Tupick and wife Claudette of Berlin, Norman Tupick and wife Ruth of St. Cloud, FL, Sherry Gagne and husband Peter of Berlin, Kim Kluchnick and husband Paul of Berlin, Brian Tupick and wife Linda of Gorham and Mark Tupick of Berlin; daughter-in-law Linda Tupick of Berlin; 19 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; sister Edna Stranger of Berlin; brother Robert Thomas and wife Carol of Berlin; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Tupick, Sr., her sons John Cropley and Alexander “Buster” Tupick, grandson Jeremy Tupick, great grandsons Kyle Morin and Joshua Lambertson, son-in-law George Buteau, daughters-in-law Geneva Tupick and Jeannette Tupick and seven siblings.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 12, 2018 at 10 AM at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, 20 Petrograd St., Berlin. Interment will follow in the Russian City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 PM and Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 PM and then at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church on Friday evening from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church.
