Kevin Emile Dionne, 45 of Danvers, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the NSMC / Salem Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Born in Salem, he was the loving son of Louis G. and Maureen J. (Banville) Dionne. He and his family moved to Danvers in 1978. Kevin attended North Shore Consortium Special Education School until the age of 22. He was currently a resident of the Danvers group home under the N.R.S. Kevin was a former participant of the Bass River Day Program and of the Special Olympics.
In addition to his parents who now reside in Newton, NH, “Little Squirt” is survived by his two brothers, Steven G. Dionne and wife Stephanie of Danville, NH, Peter G. Dionne and wife Marci of N. Berwick, ME, his nieces and nephew Rose, Rheann, Taylor, Cameron, Rachel & Jacqui, as well as his aunt Mary Galvin.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem, MA on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM to be followed by his Mass of Christian Burial in St. James Church, 156 Federal St., Salem, MA at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem, MA. Visiting hours, at the funeral home will be on Thursday, May 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
