Alicejean (Atwood) Howard, 91, of Anderson died peacefully May 4, 2018.
She was born in Muncie on September 13, 1926 the daughter of Duke V. and Osie Elizabeth (Markins) Atwood. She was a homemaker, member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, and was active in fundraising for the March of Dimes. Alicejean was known for her baking.
She is survived by children, Nancy (Roger) Nealis of Louisville, Tim Howard of Anderson, and Rebecca Pettit of Albany; grandchildren, Rex (Holly) Nealis, Spencer Pettit and Kaleigh (Jason) Fruits; great grandchildren, Ryan, Owen and Ollie; several nieces and nephews, Joanne Howard Smith, Rob (Marilyn) Priddy, David (Suszanne) Priddy, Jana Province, Beth (Kevin ) Eads, Tom (Susan) Kirk, Mike (Joy) Kirk, Kristen (Scott) Kirk, with special thanks to nieces Joanne Smith and Beth Eads.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hayes H. Howard on August 3, 2010, 2 brothers John and Richard Atwood, 3 sisters Marylou Priddy, Rebecca Province and Judy Kirk.
Friends may visit with the family during a Celebration of Life Gathering, on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 3-5 PM at Rozelle- Johnson Funeral Service. Please use the west front entrance. Private interment will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery.
