FALL RIVER- Elizabeth A. (Peckham) Murphy, 79, of Dartmouth died unexpectedly Sunday, November 13, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Kenneth E. Murphy.
Born in Cohasset a daughter of the late Frank M. and Emily M. (DeMello) Peckham she had lived in Westport most of her life prior to moving to Dartmouth nine years ago. She had been a communicant of St. John the Baptist church in Westport and was active with Smith Mills Christian Congregational Church events. Mrs. Murphy loved to spend time with her family.
Survivors include: 1 son, Kenneth E. Duquette and his wife Ellen of Dartmouth; 1 brother, Edward Peckham of Norton; 1 sister, Helen Farrell of Somerset; 4 grandchildren, Kenneth M. Duquette, Kerry A. Pierce, Kris E. Duquette and Ashley E. Duquette; 2 great grandchildren, Rebecca E. Pierce and Kristopher M. Duquette; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Frank Peckham, Thomas Peckham and William Peckham.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
Calling hours will be private.
