Beatrice Marcus (Kutchen), 97, of Danvers formerly of Revere and Marblehead, beloved wife of 69 years of the late Herbert Marcus, died Friday May 4th at the Brightview Assisted Living Center. Born in Revere she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Sarah (Most) Kutchen. Raised and educated in Revere a graduate of Revere High School. Beatrice was a home maker and worked by her husband’s side at the Swiss Watch Maker in Cambridge where they were owner operators for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who will be deeply missed.
Beatrice is survived by her children Dr. Donald A. Marcus and his wife Janis of Methuen, Barbara Lombard and her husband David of Winthrop her grandchildren Johnna and Alex, her brother David Kutchen, and her niece Amy Darst.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Torf Funeral Chapel 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea Tuesday May 8th from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Interment in New Jewish Deed Holders Cemetery, Everett. Memorial observance to be held at Barbara and David Lombard’s home following the burial.
