Pellegrino J. “Billy” DeFronzo, a life-long resident of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, May 2nd at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was 83.
Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Pringie and Mary (Cannizzaro) DeFronzo. Billy enjoyed playing cards and checkers, listening to music, taking walks and spending time with his family.
Billy was the loving brother of Frances Ferino and her late husband Michael of Medford. He was the devoted uncle of Michael F. Ferino, Jr. of Medford and Brian J. Ferino of Everett, and the devoted great uncle of Michael A. and Kasey V.M. Ferino, both of Lowell. He is also survived by many loving cousins.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, on Wednesday, May 9th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
