Charlina A. (Perry) McGar, 67, of Louisville passed away after a ten year battle with Alzheimers Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
Charlina was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN. and had retired after 35 years of dedicated service from AT&T in 2008. She is a graduate of South Hopkins High School class of 1969.
Survivors include her husband, of 43 years, Roger L. McGar; a son, Chadwick McGar (Mindy); five sisters, Diana Yates, (Donnie), Jackie Clark (Gary), Tamarra Williams, Patsy Moore (Charles) & Marquessa Fisher (Ray); a brother, Malcolm Perry (Sujata); three grandchildren, Trevor, Cameron & Breckin.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with entombment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Ky. at a later date. The family will receive visitors after 1:00 P.M. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Alzheimers Research Foundation.
