Connie (Gulino) Cianci of Marblehead, our "Queen of Hearts," left us to join her "King," the late Salvatore J. Cianci, on Monday, April 30. Born in Canicattini Bagni, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Concetta (Linares) Gulino.
Connie was the devoted mother of Maria Cianci Glinski and "the son she never had," her son-in-law Bruce, of Salem. She was the cherished grandmother of Michelle Glinski Tache and her husband Andrew of Berwick, Maine, Marc Glinski and his wife Brittani of Lynnfield, and Andrew Glinski of Colorado. Connie was the loving great grandmother of Gunnar and Shelby Tache of Berwick, Maine, Kyara, Mason, Luca and Christian Glinski, all of Lynnfield.
"We were fortunate to have learned many valuable life lessons from our 'Mama Mia,' the most important being that we have not been 'Lucky' but 'blessed.' Our deepest thanks to the loving and thoughtful staff at Devereux House in Marblehead who have taken such wonderful care of 'Our Sunshine'."
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Monday, May 7 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Sunday, May 6, from 4 through 8 PM.
