Obituary

John A. ‘Pete’ Caron, 75, of Danvers, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, Monday, April 30, 2018, at the Devereux House in Marblehead following a long illness. He was the loving husband of Christine J. (Thibault) Caron with whom he had shared 55 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Eugene and Lucy C. (Corriveau) Caron. Pete was employed for over 25 years with GTE Sylvania retiring in 2004 as a unit supervisor. Pete was the consummate family man. He was devoted to his wife, children their spouses and granddaughter. He loved puttering around the house “fixing” things and entertaining their large family gatherings either at home or at restaurants. Pete also enjoyed a round of golf from time to time. He was a quiet, easy going man who was easy to be around. He will be missed by many.
In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by three daughters, Susan M. Lausier and husband Paul of Danvers, Stephanie L. Eugenio and husband Michael of Salem, Stacey L. Caron and partner Saeed Mansour of North Attleboro, his son Jeffrey J. Caron and wife Renee of Lynn, and granddaughter, Sofia F. Caron.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
