Paul H. Johnson, 63, of New Bedford died Sunday November 13, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Pauline (Raymond) Johnson.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (McCuen) Johnson, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. Johnson was formerly employed by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 27 years until his retirement. He was currently working as a driver for Tremblay Bus Company.
He enjoyed swimming, playing cards, and spending time with his family. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Christine Souza of New Bedford and Kimberly Barthelmes of Dartmouth; a brother, Robert Johnson of Chicopee; a sister, Barbara Ponsart of Laconia, New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Corey Johnson, Oriana Barthelmes, and Skylar Barthelmes; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford on Tuesday November 15, 2005 from 5-7 PM. His Funeral Service will be private.
