Mary Elizabeth Hodge, 70, died Saturday, April 28th, 2018. She was the beloved wife of James Hodge. They had been married for forty-eight years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of William and Claire (Harding) Turbitt. She had worked for many years in the medical field.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, David Hodge and his wife, Asta of East Providence, and Allan Hodge and his wife Nina of Cranston, as well as her grandchildren, Angelina, Leah and Mykolas and her brother, Robert Turbitt of Cranston. She is predeceased by her siblings, James, Walter, John, Jean, William and Edward Turbitt.
A memorial mass will be held Friday, May 4th at 11:30 am in Holy Name Church, 107 Camp Street, Providence. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence or donations of perishable items may be made to the church food bank.
