Louise M. (Donahue) Demeule, 88, of Salem, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert. R. Demeule.
Born in Boston and raised in Salem, she was the foster daughter of the late Wilfred and Alice (Gagnon) April. At a young age, she worked for the former CBS Hytron in Danvers and in the 1960’s she was employed in the cafeteria at Salem State College. Louise was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish and more recently, Ste. Anne Parish of Salem.
She is survived by her son Peter L. Demeule of South Hamilton, a foster brother, Philip McNiff of Duxbury, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Glenn J., Bruce P. and Robert R. Demeule, Jr. and sisters, Alice O. Marcinkowski and Rita Higley.
