Sheila Brown age 57 born in Sumter, South Carolina, passed away on April 17 surrounded by her loving and caring family. Sheila lived in Springfield and was a hard worker and enjoyed family time and reading. She was a glorious mother of four. Corey K Brown of Springfield, David H. Brown of Springfield, Iman S. Brown-Winer of Hampden County and Sarafina L. Brown of Chicopee. Sheila was predeaced by her parents Burdela and Richard Brown and two older brothers Alton Smith and Charlie Brown. She was a caring and loving sister to surving sisters, Gloria Cox of NH, Benda Clarck, Vivian Ludol, Angelene Brown and Donyell Brown of MA and 11 grandchildren. Calling Hours will be held on May 4, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a prayer service by Pastor Daniels presiding at 2:30 p.m. Following the calling hours the family has invited friends and family for a reception at 91 Jasper St. Springfield, MA. God gives us light and some shines brighter than others. That light was Sheila Brown to those who knew her or just met her. Her light shone on those who felt like they're own was being dimmed.
