In Taunton, April 28, 2018 Dorothy Ann (Crowley) Welch, Age 83, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family in Morton Hospital. Dorothy was the wife of the late Raymond Welch. She was born in Dorchester, the daughter of the late Timothy & Dorothy (Hayes) Crowley. She was educated in Boston schools and then resided in Taunton most of her life. Dorothy had worked for the former Swank Company in Taunton for twenty years. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, crafts, gardening and above all cherished her time with family. She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Cunningham and husband Kevin of Taunton, Patricia Wood of Taunton, Eileen Murphy and husband Stephen of Mashpee, Timothy Welch and wife Ailish of Norton and Thomas Welch and wife Veronica of North Attleboro, her siblings, Melinda Canepa and Gerald Crowley both from South Yarmouth and her beloved 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday, May 2nd at 9 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10 am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
