In Taunton, April 26, 2018 Robert J. Brady, better known as Zeke, passed away at the age of 82. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Leo Phillip and Theresa (Barry) Brady. He is survived by his wife Joan (Wood) Brady and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Leo “Bud”, Theresa Palazesi, Phyllis Smith, William “Billy”, James “Jim” Jean Campanirio, Thomas “Tommy” and Paul. Bob attended Taunton schools and worked for 23 years at Hascon and 18 years at UPS in plant engineering. He was also in the antique business for 25 years. Bob was a proud 20 year member of the Emerald Society of Boston, the Irish Cultural Center and Ireland’s 32 Society, he held dual citizenship to Ireland for 20 years. He loved to travel and had visited Ireland 15 times. Some travel highlights also included: Paris, Spain, and Portugal. He spent 25 summers vacationing with friends and he spent his holidays with close friends and family. He was a member and collector at Annunciation of the Lord Church. He was a big fan of the Patriots, Red Sox and other New England sports. He loved to keep a meticulously manicured lawn and took great pride in his home and garden. Funeral home visiting hours will be at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Tuesday, May 1st from 9-10:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Annunciation of the Lord Church at 11am. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
