HARWICH PORT- Helen V. (Jeskey) O’Neil, 85, of 6 Camp Avenue, formerly of 11 Holland Road in Worcester died Friday, June 14th at home. Her husband James B. O’Neil died in 1983. She leaves two daughters, H. Marie Rintala of Harwichport and Kathleen M. LaVine of San Diego, CA; a sister, Agnes Stolulonis of Worcester; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Victor J. and Helen V. (Jenkot) Jeskey and graduated from South High School. Mrs. O’Neil was a sales clerk at Gross Strauss in Worcester for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and its Thursday Afternoon Women’s Club and the Cavendish Club.
The funeral will be held Thursday, June 20th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 19th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
