Lindellious “Lil Boss” Rogers, 78, of Tifton passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Roger’s wish was to be cremated with no services.
Born February 6, 1940 in Eldorado, Mr. Rogers was the son of the late Linous Rogers and Sally Cox Ford Rogers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Clara Nolan Rogers; and eight siblings. Before retiring, he worked as a heavy equipment operator for the prison in Carroll County and was of the Church of God faith.
Mr. Rogers is survived by two sons, Melvin Richard “Ricky” Rogers of Birmingham, Alabama and Denny Lindellious Rogers of Sylacauga, Alabama; two sisters, Evelyna Carter of Palatka, Florida and Ruth Harrell of Sumner; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
